WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE

One 252 g (8.90 oz) package of Breadfruit Pancake & Waffle Mix.

INGREDIENTS

Breadfruit, Coconut Sugar, Sea Salt, Baking Soda.

APPROXIMATE YIELD

One package makes approximately 18 pancakes or waffles measuring about 4–5 inches in diameter.

YOU’LL NEED FOR EACH BATCH

• 1/3 cup dry mix

• 1 tablespoon oil

• 1 large egg or prepared flaxseed egg replacement

• 1/4 cup water

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

PREPARATION

1. Whisk the oil, egg, water, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar together.

2. Stir in the dry mix until just combined.

3. For pancakes, cook 2–3 tablespoons of batter on a lightly oiled skillet. Flip when bubbles form.

4. For waffles, cook the prepared batter in a preheated, lightly oiled waffle maker.

VEGAN EGG OPTION

Combine 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed with 3 tablespoons water and let it rest for 5 minutes. This replaces one egg.

OPTIONAL ADD-INS

The package suggests pumpkin seeds, chopped almonds, pistachios, or cinnamon. These are optional customer-added ingredients and are not included in the dry mix. Almonds and pistachios are tree nuts.
